About

WordCamp London is a 3 day WordPress conference, held at London Metropolitan University from 20th – 22nd March. It’s organised by volunteers who are passionate about WordPress and the WordPress community.

The conference is broken down into two events:

  • 20th MarchWordPress contributor day. Friday’s event is all about getting involved with WordPress. If you’ve never written a patch or documentation, answered a support question, or translated a string, this is a great opportunity to get started. There’ll be people from across the project available to help you out. Remember, contributing to WordPress isn’t just for developers: anyone can get involved and help out!
  • 21st – 22nd March – a two-day, three-track conference, with speakers from across the WordPress community and beyond. There are talks for designers, developers, writers, business-owners, freelancers, anyone who is at all interested in WordPress. We also have a non-profit track that focuses specifically on non-profits using WordPress.

On top of that there’ll be an after-party on Saturday night, and some cool swag. If you have any questions about the event, get in touch and we’ll try to help you out.

    1. There are plans for a happiness bar and seating around the venue so I will not be surprised if people get chatting in the hallway. As for talks specifically about techniques, plugins and genesis, the schedule will be out as soon as possible which should answer that question. Our confirmed speakers are listed on the speakers page.

  1. Hi, I’m trying to plan my travel arrangements for the Sat/Sun. Could you let me know what time you expect the talks to start. Thanks.

  2. Will you have a session on eu digital vat new rules and what this means for shopping carts and data collection and storage. #vatmoss.

Key issue for 215 as it affects anyone selling digital downloads to an EU customer wherever the seller is located and there is no threshold.

    1. Hi Annabel,

The schedule will be out as soon as possible. I cannot confirm there is a session on VATMOSS but based on the attendees list, I can spot a few names who will be at the event and know a lot about VATMoss. I am happy to introduce you to those people at the event.

      Jenny
