Both of these are around WordPress themes.\u00a0 WordPress Theme Fundamentals, run by <a href=\"http:\/\/kimb.me\/\">Michael Kimb Jones<\/a>, is aimed at beginners to WordPress theming, while the <a href=\"http:\/\/themeshaper.com\">Theme Team from Automattic<\/a> will be holding a workshop to teach you how to use the theme customizer.<\/p>\n<p>Both workshops require that you bring your own laptop as well as having WordPress installed locally. You can read more about the requirements on each workshop&#8217;s individual page.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note: you will need a ticket for WordCamp London to attend either workshop.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>WordPress Theme Fundamentals<\/h3>\n<p>09:30 &#8211; 12:45<\/p>\n<p>This course is aimed at beginners to WordPress themes.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If you\u2019ve ever built a website with WordPress, you\u2019ve probably wondered if you should build your own theme. Have you been eyeing the powerful Theme Customizer but don\u2019t know where to start? Are you still creating theme option pages from scratch the old way and don\u2019t know how to transition? If any or all of these apply, then this workshop is for you.<\/p>\n<p>Join a group of wranglers from the <a href=\"http:\/\/themeshaper.com\">Automattic Theme Team <\/a>in a workshop covering all aspects of the Theme Customizer, from basic implementation to custom controls, sanitization, and transitioning from existing theme option pages.
