Simon Wheatley

Simon Wheatley is an enthusiast for open source software and WordPress, he co-founded Code For The People, a WordPress consultancy. Code For The People was acquired by Automattic last year, where he now works, democratising publishing and helping major online publishers in WordPress.com’s VIP team. Simon has worked on WordPress sites for the Rolling Stones, the UK and Scottish Governments, Stephen Fry, and Oxford University, amongst others.

Simon will talk about the humble URL, one of the cornerstones of the web, how it works, and how you can even have a little fun with it.
