Say hello to our first batch&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; and check out their sessions in more detail in the<a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/schedule\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/kirsty-burgoine\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kirsty Burgoine<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Kirsty is a web designer \/ WordPress developer\u00a0specialising in building bespoke WordPress websites for clients large and small.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/davetgreen\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dave Green<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Dave Green is a tea drinking web developer from sunny Manchester specialising in front-end development, WordPress and WooCommerce.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/philip-john\/\" target=\"_blank\">Philip John<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Phil is a long time WordPress user and 7-year freelance developer. He joined Code For The People and subsequently moved to Automattic following their acquisition.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/tim-nash\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tim Nash<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Tim is the Developer Advocate and WordPress Platform Lead for 34SP.com and a regular speaker at WordPress events in the UK.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/soledad-penades\/\" target=\"_blank\">Soledad Penad\u00e9s<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Sole has been building websites for almost twenty years and right now she&#8217;s a devevangineer at Mozilla.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/mark-wilkinson\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mark Wilkinson<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0Mark is a Freelance WordPress developer working from home in Lancashire and a former secondary school teacher of Computing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/damianboni\/\" target=\"_blank\">Damian Boni<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Damian is a professional web developer with (2:1 BSc Hon in Web Technologies) and BTEC National Certificate in IT. He holds over 5 years of commercial experience as LAMP (Linux, Apatche, Mysql, PHP) Developer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/mike-selander\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mike Selander <\/a>&#8211;\u00a0Mike is a WordPress agency developer from Colorado, USA. He has built over 250 custom sites on WordPress as well as a a full range of plugins.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/kat-reeve\/\" target=\"_blank\">Kat Reeve<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0Kathryn is a PHP developer who\u2019s been working for PHP since early in PHP4\u2019s lifespan. Her day to day job keeps her busy with WordPress sites across the range from small to large.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/shannon-burns\/\" target=\"_blank\">Shannon Burns<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Before joining NGINX as a developer advocate, Shannon was a full stack engineer programming in Ruby on Rails and Ember.js, and a developer in operations building internal tools with Meteor.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/jason-agnew\/\" target=\"_blank\">James Agnew<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0James is the Technical Director at Big Bite Creative, a WordPress.com VIP Partner Agency.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/julio-potier\/\" target=\"_blank\">Julio Potier<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Co-founder of WP Media, the startup that made WP Rocket and Imagify, Julio Potier is a WordPress Expert, an Advanced Trainer and a Web Security Consultant.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/dan-blows\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dan Blows<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Dan Blows is a full stack developer working for Moove Agency. He has been building websites since 2001, and even made an Ajax request before jQuery existed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/rachel-mccollin\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rachel McCollin<\/a> &#8211;\u00a0Rachel is a\u00a0WordPress developer and writer who writes regularly for WPMU DEV and tuts+. She&#8217;s\u00a0written four WordPress books and created plenty of training videos too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2016.london.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/tacoverdo\/\" target=\"_blank\">Taco Verdonschot<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0Taco is\u00a0working as community manager at Yoast (and yes, that&#8217;s his real name).
