Your WordCamp London organising team is striving to ensure the event we are planning is suitable, accessible and welcoming to all – including future WordPress contributors and users! Throughout\u00a0our planning process, we’ve aimed to ensure that anybody who would like to come to WordCamp London is able to, including parents with young children.<\/p>\n

We would like to now call on you to gather\u00a0comments and suggestions from anybody interested in making use of a creche at WordCamp London 2016.\u00a0We can’t stress enough that nothing has been confirmed, as we wanted to ensure there was enough demand to warrant\u00a0this additional expense.<\/strong>\u00a0We kindly urge you to register your interest now in order to ensure your voice is heard.<\/p>\n

WordCamp London will certainly be a child-friendly event, and we encourage parents to accompany their children to talks and sessions – we think they’d have a great experience! For parents who do not feel like their children would find the sessions interesting, we\u2019d like to ensure you are still able to attend the event so please register your interest if you\u2019d like the option of a creche.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do I register interest in a creche at WCLDN?<\/h2>\n

If you are interested in bringing your children to the event\u00a0and would like the option of using a creche, we kindly ask that you register your interest by filling in the form below.<\/p>\n

Deadline to register interest<\/h2>\n

If you would like to make use of a creche at WordCamp London 2016 we strongly encourage you to fill in the form\u00a0below registering your interest before the 8th January 2016. <\/strong>We must collect all feedback before this date in order to ensure we are able to plan for the creche before the event in April.<\/p>\n

Please keep in mind…<\/h2>\n

If we do go ahead with including a creche at the event, we will be able to provide childcare for the sessions occurring over the 9th – 10th April. <\/strong>These sessions will be broken down into four separate blocks:<\/p>\n

Saturday AM \/\u00a0Saturday PM \/\u00a0Sunday AM \/\u00a0Sunday PM\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

All sessions will be priced at approximately \u00a35 per session*<\/strong>. If you’d like your child to be looked after over the course of an entire day you will need to purchase a ticket for each session.<\/p>\n

Please also keep in mind:<\/p>\n

  • Lunch for your child is included in the price of one session ticket (this will be the same lunch served to the adult attendees)<\/li>\n
  • Parents will need to collect their children and accompany them to lunch<\/li>\n
  • There will not be the option of a creche on Friday 8th April<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Deadline to register your interest is\u00a08th January 2016<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
