At WordCamp London we’ve always been proud of our graphic efforts. Since the very first edition in 2013, we’ve selected a theme that reflects London’s rich cultural heritage, from theatre to the punk scene.
This year we’re celebrating London’s music ecosystem, and our excellent designers (Elliott, Paul and David) have produced some outstanding visuals.
Here they are in all their glory!
Logos
We have two versions of our logo. Whether you’re a speaker who wants to brand their slides, or a sponsor who wants to announce to the world they’re going to be demoing their product, feel free to grab the version that better fits your purpose.
Wapuu
Please allow to introduce you to… the One Wapuu Band!
There will be other music-themed Wapuus on the sticker sheets that will be given away during the event. Here’s a preview…
Badges
At the registration table you’ll be given this cute little rectangle of paper along with a lanyard, and you’ll have to carry it with you all the time, for two reasons:
- Security: it’s the only way security personnel from the University can make sure you’re part of the event.
- Identity: as many of us have met online, for a lot of people it might be easier to recognise names and Twitter handles than faces!
Here’s a badge example. As you can see, it comes with your first and last name, your Twitter handle, the company you work for, and your unique Wi-Fi code.
T-shirts
Attendees t-shirts will be Opal (light grey) in colour with a small left-chest position logo and a logo on the upper back.
The t-shirt above is straight cut.
Let us know what you think.
We’re extremely proud of the work our design team has put in this year, and hopefully you’ll be impressed too!

* Please bear in mind t-shirts for children are only being supplied to children attending our workshop on Friday 13th April. We have only ordered a limited amount so please do not try and negotiate a t-shirt for your child on the day of the event as you’ll put our volunteers in a difficult position! Thank you.
