Again for 2019, WordCamp London is committed to continuing this commitment.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Below is a list of the accessible and inclusive features you can expect at WordCamp London 2019. If you feel we have missed anything or if you have any questions, please don&#8217;t hesitate to email us at\u00a0<strong>london@wordcamp.org<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Childcare<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Childcare is offered for the entirety of the two conference days 6 &#8211; 7 April 2019, for both the morning and afternoon sessions. It is not available for Contributor Day on 5 April. Parents and guardians are able to bring their children to the main conference and can reserve a place with the childcare providers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nipperbout.com\/\">Nipperbout<\/a>. Childcare places can be reserved via the tickets page.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disabled Parking<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>There are Blue Badge disabled parking spaces outside our venue, London Metropolitan University. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.islington.gov.uk\/parking\/where-to-park\/parking-for-disabled-people\">London Borough of Islington<\/a> permits Blue Badge holders to park free of charge and for an unlimited period in pay-and-display and permit bays. You can also park for up to three hours on a single or double yellow line as long as there is no loading ban in force.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hearing Loops<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>All rooms holding sessions and presentations are fitted with audio induction loops. This includes the Henry Thomas Room, Great Hall and GC1\u201308 (in the Graduate Centre).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lactation Room<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>WordCamp London is a breastfeeding friendly event.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If you are breastfeeding or expressing and would like to use a lactation room, please collect a key from\u00a0an organiser at the main reception desk in <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.me\/P833Rb-4w\">The Rocket building<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For more information or to arrange the use of this room at a particular time, you can email us in advance at <strong>london@wordcamp.org<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Life essentials boxes<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Our life essentials boxes are located in all bathrooms. They contain sanitary products and are available for anyone to use. Please let an organiser or volunteer know if you need anything or if it needs to be refilled.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Multi-faith Room<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Room: <strong>TM1-86<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The multi-faith room will be accessible to all attendees. Please <strong>do not use the room for any other purpose<\/strong>. If you would like a quiet area, we have arranged the Quiet Room for you.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Speaker Selection Process<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>We want WordCamp London to continue to be an inclusive event and welcome applications from all parts of the community. <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.london.wordcamp.org\/2019\/01\/10\/speakers-faqs\/\">More on our Speakers FAQs<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Speech to Text Reporters (STTRs)<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>We will be providing live captions for every presentation throughout the conference days of the event, 6 &#8211; 7 April 2019.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quiet Room<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>There will be a Quiet Room available for all attendees to use during the conference. We want people to feel comfortable using this room to relax away from the main conference areas.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Please do not use this room for taking calls. If you need to take calls please emails us <strong>london@wordcamp.org<\/strong> and we can help find an appropriate place.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visas<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If you are visiting us from outside the UK and will need a visa to access the event, please email the team at <strong>london@wordcamp.org<\/strong> to arrange this.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wheelchair Access<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The entire University is accessible by wheelchair, apart from the back room in The Rocket building.
