Tickets for #WCLDN 2019 open

What does your WordCamp London 2019 ticket price include?

WordCamp London 2019 will be held at the London Metropolitan University on 5 – 7 April 2019. With tickets now on sale, here’s a guide to what’s included in the ticket price.

An outstanding WordCamp experience

We’re delighted to announce we’re keeping ticket prices at £40 for the weekend, including all talks and workshops, food and drink, and the After Party.

This is the same price as last year and phenomenal value for money. WordCamp London is a world-class weekend of WordPress, learning, and networking. We’re able to offer tickets at this accessible price thanks to our generous sponsors and the WordPress Foundation.  If you would like to join them, there’s still time. Call for Sponsors.

The actual price you pay for a ticket doesn’t even cover the cost of the food we’re providing during the weekend (lunch both conference days, dinner on the Saturday, tea, coffee, and snacks at break times).

An accessible WordCamp experience

WordCamp London is an accessible WordCamp, and our accessibility and inclusivity post has many details. A couple of these are especially relevant to tickets.

  1. We’re offering childcare on the Saturday and Sunday. This is available at a subsidised price of £5 per child, per day.
  2. If you are visiting us from outside the UK and will need a visa to access the event, please email the team at london@wordcamp.org to arrange this.
  3. The vast majority of the venue is wheelchair accessible, there are multiple accessible bathrooms. There are also Blue Badge disabled parking spaces outside the venue.

Contribute to WordPress on the Friday

You can contribute to WordPress on Friday 5 April 2019, the day before the main conference! Whether you’re an experienced WordPress contributor or have never worked on WordPress, we will have teams from Accessibility, to Core, to Polyglots available and help throughout the day to ensure you get the most from the experience (a full list of teams is available on signup).

We have 150 Contributor Day tickets available, and these are free when purchased with a Conference ticket. Lunch will be provided, and this takes place at the same venue: London Metropolitan University. Please save your spot if you would like to join us!

Extra ticket details

If you would like to pay a little more, we have a limited number of Micro Sponsor tickets at £250 each. These are great for those wishing to pay the “true” cost of their attendance.

Refunds are available up to 30 days before the event, and invoices can be requested once you’ve purchased your ticket by emailing us london@wordcamp.org from 30 January 2019.

Ready to welcome you

We can’t wait to see you in London in April. You can secure your place now and if you have any questions you can reach us at london@wordcamp.org.
